A highly concentrated liquid dye for coloring all suede items in just one easy application. The Suede Dye can be used both to restore the original color of worn items and to completely dye them into an entirely new shade.

Besides suede, the dye also delivers excellent results when dyeing nubuck leathers.

Once applied and left to dry, the color becomes completely colorfast and does not rub off. The dyed suede acquires a slight natural water repellency and stain resistance. However, for maximum and long-lasting protection, we recommend additional treatment with our Suede Protector.

What is the Suede Dye suitable for? The product can be used on all suede and nubuck items. It delivers great results for refreshing shoes, clothing, and handbags, but it is equally effective on larger suede areas, such as furniture.

Coverage and Yield Our suede dye is available in a 125ml bottle, which is enough to dye approximately 0.5 sq.m. of surface area. This amount is roughly equivalent to a waist-length jacket or about five pairs of suede shoes.

Instructions for Use

  • Preparation: Ensure the suede is completely clean and dry before dyeing. Shake the bottle well before use. Important: Always pre-test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

  • Application: Apply the dye onto a sponge, dauber (applicator), or your preferred method. Rub into the suede in all directions to ensure an even coverage. If necessary, additional coats can be applied.

  • Drying: Leave to dry naturally – the process takes approximately one hour. It is not recommended to dry the dye with a hairdryer, as this can cause the pigment to migrate and dry patchy.

  • Finishing: Wipe with a dry cloth to remove any excess dye. Then, using a special suede brush, gently brush the material in all directions to restore and raise the nap (fibers).

  • Protection: Finish the process by applying a suede protector (Suede Protector) to seal the result and protect the material.
